We meet Thursdays at 7:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. in the cafeteria of the 777 Building at the corner of Eisenhower- and State street. The purpose of the program and of the club is to give members opportunities to develop their personal skills in speaking, listening, thinking, and leadership. Since that time, the club has offered weekly opportunities for those in the Ann Arbor area to participate actively in developing their communication skills. Our membership includes many women and men in many different businesses and technical professions. Some were experienced speakers when they joined, most have been novices. A broad mix of occupations and interests among our members assure that meetings are interesting and informative, with a wealth of resources ready for tapping. We believe in providing sufficient opportunities so that all members can participate in educational and club activities to the extent that they want to. Your involvement shapes this clubs present and its future. All new members will participate in our mentor program. In this program, an experienced Toastmaster will guide the young Toastmaster into identifying his or her goals and assist him or her in attaining them.
